How Do I Know If My Phone Is Eligible For An Upgrade With Verizon?

To know if you’re eligible for an upgrade, go to the Verizon Upgrade page. From there, you’ll be able to figure out if the phone number you type in is eligible for the upgrade.

If you’re the account owner it’s also available by logging in via your My Verizon account, selecting “Upgrade my Device,” and seeing if the device is eligible.

Do I Have To Pay Off My Phone Before Upgrading With Verizon?

It’s not a requirement to pay off your phone, but we’d like to encourage you to do so as it allows for faster data speeds.

You can’t buy a new phone at a significant discount, but you can buy a new phone at full retail anytime.
