Target Car Seat Return Policy In 2022
Target accepts returns of unused and unopened car seats within 60 days after purchase as of 2022. You can return it to any Target store or via mail, providing the original receipt. Target RedCard users or Circle Rewards members have 30 days to return car seats.
If you are considering purchasing a used car seat, be sure to check the manufacturer’s warranty, the vehicle’s condition, and the vehicle’s age.
How Long Do I Have To Return My Car Seat To Target?
You can return car seats back to Target within the 90-day window period, provided that you have the original proof of purchase.
If you’re a Target Circle Rewards member or have used a Target RedCard to pay for your purchase, you’re eligible to return your car seat for up to 120 days.
This is true for any car seat or accessory you buy from Target, but it is not true if the car seat or accessory came directly from Target; since a Target-branded item is a contract with a third party, you cannot return it to Target for exchange or refund.

If you live far away from a Target store and ordered your car seat online, you can return it to the Target Online Return Center through the mail.
You have up to 30 days from the date you ship back an eligible item to return it, and 30 days from purchase to return the item. Don’t forget to save your receipt!
