People have been trying to find a new way to pay for goods online and offline without using traditional cards. It’s still early on for the contact-free payment systems, but it’s a huge step in the right direction.
As more retailers accept payments by using the two mobile payment platforms, you may be curious as to which retailers currently accept these payments.
Samsung and Google have teamed up to bring you the convenience of their payment systems at Sam’s Club.
Does Sam’s Club Accept Google Pay & Samsung Pay In 2022?
Samsung Pay is the exclusive mobile payment method exclusively at Sam’s Club. Samsung Pay will be accepted in stores from January 21, 2022. However, Google Pay will not be accepted. It is the only payment method accepted at all Sam’s Club stores. You will need to use the Sam’s Club website or smartphone app to place your order.
When you shop for groceries online, you get to know the brands that you rely on and can trust. Instacart helps you choose brands you know and trust too, while delivering groceries for you.
Does Sam’s Club Accept Samsung Pay?
To access Samsung Pay, click on the app from the Samsung Store or download it from the App Store. Then select the payment method and enter your card information.
You see, there is no real physical “SAM SENSOR” on Samsung Galaxy devices. They do not support the Samsung Pay app for transactions. Samsung Pay works with the SAM SENSOR which is an in-app feature that is only available on select devices.
Does Sam’s Club Accept Google Pay?
Sam’s Club does not accept Google Pay in-store or for online purchases through the Sam’s Club website. There are some retailers that have their own Google Pay checkout pages, but there is no real benefit to doing business with these retailers vs. using online shopping services such as Amazon, BestBuy, Target, Walmart or their own websites.
Sam’s Club shoppers can only buy groceries from Instacart through the Instacart app.
If you get to the point where your Google Pay account is connected to your PayPal account, follow the onscreen instructions.
Sam’s Club will not accept payment using Google Pay because the payment fees associated with the payment method are too high.
What Payment Methods Does Instacart Accept At Sam’s Club?
Instacart wants to reach as many customers as possible, and therefore it accepts several payment methods.
We’ve partnered with Stripe, a global payments platform, to process Instacart orders.
Instacart is a mobile shopping app that allows users to shop for groceries and other essentials. In order to buy groceries, you select the products you wish to purchase and scan the bar code.
Instacart accepts many popular payment methods, but it may not take all of those payment methods.
– VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB
– GiroPay, PayPal
Payment is always handled by a third-party. If your card is declined, a receipt will be emailed to you.
If you have an Amex or any other card that is not accepted, you can still add your payment information and we will manually ship your order.
How Do You Add A Payment Method To Your Instacart Account?
Instacart will give you the option to add Google Pay to your account for payments that start within 30 days. This will allow you to pay from your saved credit card or Google Pay wallet directly on the app or website of Instacart.

To add your Google Pay account to Instacart, click on the ‘Hi (your name)’ in the top right hand corner, and then click your account.
When it’s done, you’ll be taken to a page where you can add your Google Pay information.

Next, click on ‘Account Settings’ and ‘Payment Methods’ to add your Google Pay information. Then, enter your billing address and then ‘Save’ to finish the process.
Some stores accept Google Pay, some stores accept Samsung Pay.
There is some overlap between stores that accept Google Pay and that accept Samsung Pay.
I’m not sure what the overlap is between the stores that accept Google Pay and the stores that accept Samsung Pay.
Conclusion
Sam’s Club is only accepting Samsung Pay for in-store transactions. If you’re ordering something on the Sam’s Club Website, you will not be able to use Samsung Pay.
Additionally, the only way to use the Google Pay app or website to purchase things from Sam’s Club is through the Instacart app or website.
When you link a credit card to PayPal account, it’s not the same thing as linking your PayPal account to your Google Pay account!
