The Priority Mail service is very similar to FedEx and UPS services. You’ll pay based on the weight and size of the package.
It also offers a variety of options to choose from in terms of the type of package you are sending.
There’s quite a range of things that can be done with the service. You can, for example, send just about anything through this service as long as your package weighs less than 70 pounds and has a maximum combined length and girth of 108 inches.
We’ve already covered the three most important features: priority mail, signature service and tracking. Let’s now learn more about Priority Mail by looking at delivery times, services and cost.

No one can really predict how long something will take to arrive. Sometimes they come in a few days, others can be years.
The U.S. Postal Service delivers mail six days a week all year, and there is an additional charge for Saturday delivery.
Services, like any other application that you can publish, are published to the app catalog and can be accessed by clients. You can add a number of service types to your application, including web service and web API. Once published, you can grant access to the service through a policy editor.

Priority Mail covers insurance and free tracking. This is a great way to make sure your package gets to it’s intended destination.
There is a limit on the maximum amount that can be spent on a particular product.
USPS offers flat rate shipping. If you order a Priority Mail flat rate you are only responsible for a flat rate shipping charge, not a weight and dimension charge.
Typically, Flat Rate packing is better for heavier packages going longer distances.

This is the easiest way to ship an item internationally, but there is also a much more expensive and more complicated way.
That’s mostly true. Except for Priority Mail Stamps, which only cover $7.95 worth of postage.
However, the price is not static. It can fluctuate according to the USPS’s need to adjust prices to compensate for rising costs, and it can also fluctuate based on the USPS’s need to offset losses from its business.
