People can come to the Walmart Vision Center to make an appointment for eye exams and buy glasses, contact lenses and ophthalmic support.

 Well, technically you can return an item for any reason, you just need to know what it is you are returning. For example, if you want to return a phone because you feel it’s not in your price range you can! However, if you are returning a phone because it was damaged in shipping, you’ll have to tell the returns department.

Walmart has recently announced that it will be increasing the return period for items purchased at its retailers from 30 days to 60 days. The company will also start sending email reminders to customers about the return period.

Can You Return Glasses To Walmart?

If you bought any of Walmart’s blue light glasses that come in a package, they can be returned to the Vision Center within the first 60 days.

It is only allowed to change your prescription within 60 days after your exam at a Walmart.

As for online purchases, you can return them in-store up to 3 days after purchase which might be sufficient to consider the purchase a return. But if you return it via mail, you have until 7 days to accept the return.

Can You Return Contact Lenses To Walmart?

Walmart Vision Center Contact information can be updated or can be deleted as per your requirement.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you will be allowed to return the item and receive a refund.

Walmart carries a wide range of contact lens options including lenses and frames from brands such as Acuvue, Air Optix, Bausch + Lomb, Essilor, Johnson, Kama, and more. These are all included in the 30-day money-back guarantee offered by Walmart.

To further protect consumers, Walmart also allows you to return opened contact lenses within 365 days (1 year) of purchase or shipping if you are unsatisfied with the product or it is damaged/ripped.

How Do You Return Vision Center Products To Walmart In-Store?

If you bring in your prescription glasses, prescription lenses, or contacts, you can return them to the store you purchased them at.

When visiting the Vision Center, you’ll need to bring your prescription(s) and a form of photo ID. When returning, bring your receipt and original glasses and make sure you ask for an exchange or return form.

You can return your items at the Vision Center (or customer service desk), providing the original receipt or online invoice and a valid government-issued photo ID for verification.

The return must be complete, meaning all pieces are returned in their original condition and not part of a larger collection.

Walmart will still honor your return even if you got the product from a manufacturer. However, in case of defective frames, lenses, or contacts, you will need to return it to Walmart within the return period.

Glasses purchased at Walmart or one of its affiliates or subsidiaries are under warranty for 1 year against manufacturer defects in material, construction and workmanship. Glasses purchased at other locations are not under warranty and therefore not eligible for this offer.
