I Lost My USPS Tracking Number (What To Do)
USPS tracking numbers are typically printed on labels on the package. If you can’t locate a tracking number, check online record of your package, if it was shipped with a tracking number. If not, try to track it online. If the package still can’t be tracked, reach out to the recipient.

When you call the office, make sure to mention that you want the tracking number and not just the order number.
Postcards and First-Class Mail don’t have tracking numbers, unless you buy an add-on service. If you sent your item with one of these services, then you don’t have a tracking number to begin with.
If you sent an item with Priority Mail Express or Priority Mail, your order will have a unique tracking number.
Your bill or letter may contain more than one tracking number. For example, if you’re the sender, you may find your tracking number by looking on your bill or letter.

Also, if you can figure out what ship it was delivered on, you can check on the shipping companies site. They give the tracking number of the ship. Then you can find it with the number.

What If I Lost My USPS Tracking Number?
The tracking number is located somewhere on the outside of the box. If you are lucky enough to have a receipt, you’ll see a label on the box and there, you’ll likely be able to find the tracking number.
Alternatively, you can simply ask your package provider for your tracking number. Some people find that this is their best bet because the numbers can take a while to update after they’d updated their package.
This is the first tip since the USPS will not provide the information if you have lost tracking information and the care center will not make the tracking information available.
They are not refusing but rather because the USPS tracking system is hard to navigate and time-consuming to pull up the tracking number.
While it’s certainly not impossible, it may be difficult and time-consuming. If you can provide the Postal Service with enough information about your transaction, they might be able to recover the tracking number for you.

If you had previously requested a receipt in your purchase history, the manager will be able to print it directly from within the transaction on your account summary page.
Can You Track A USPS Package Without A Tracking Number?
Packages are not tracked without a tracking number. So, unless you have one, you can’t track your package.
You may need to get a new tracking number from UPS.
You may have used the wrong shipping method, which will affect the tracking method and number.
The package may have been delivered to your door and then returned to the Post Office.
If you continue to have problems, you may have to contact the shipping company and/or contact the local post office.
Can You Find Lost Mail Without A Tracking Number?
The USPS provides a free service for tracking your mail that will allow you to find lost mail. You can track your mail at the USPS website.
Go to www.usps.com and type in your tracking number in the Search box.
You will see a page with a map and your mail carrier’s photo.
If the tracking number doesn’t show up anywhere in your emails or photo albums, the tracking number is probably for someone else.
The most likely duplicate receipt you will encounter is a store receipt from a previous purchase.
If you’re the recipient, you can get your visa reinstated and get back on the same terms as everyone else at all times.
