Fortunately, the Target store I work at does accept Afterpay.
Previously, the Target app would allow online payments via the app, in the form of a credit card as well as debit card. However, Target now only accepts payments from a credit card.
Target is now using alternative payment platforms in-store, so they are no longer using Afterpay in-store.
Can You Use Afterpay in Store at Target?
You can still use Afterpay in the US at most US Walmart, Costco and Sam’s Club locations, as well as most independent locations.
How Do I Use Afterpay at Target Online?
I’d like to take a moment to let you know that we’re still working hard to improve the app, but we’ve also just launched the Target Payment App and it’s available for you to use now.
The Target Payment App gives you access to payment cards and cash cards (like Target gift cards), as well as offers and transactions at Target.com.
To process your order using Afterpay, simply proceed to checkout once you are done shopping. Select Afterpay as your payment method, and make the payment in the required amount.

so that you can apply for the best repayment plan for your purchases.

Does Target Have an Afterpay Limit?
Target doesn’t have a limit on Afterpay purchases. In fact, the policy does not even mention prices after a certain period of time.
To use Afterpay online, you have to spend a minimum of $1, and you can spend up to a maximum of $1,000. If you spend more than one, you will be charged an extra 10 percent for extra transactions.
For example, a service may limit a particular customer service agent to a maximum of $50 worth of transactions per day, and each service agent is
then assigned a particular number (e.g. 10,000) on which to make that
limit his or her daily transaction limit. This limits the agent’s
transactions by 10,000 points per day.
Afterpay allows you to pay for purchases in installments of your choice. If you are unable to buy the items you want with a credit card or debit, you may apply for Afterpay.
At the time of purchase, the amount of the purchase is taken out of your account. It is then subtracted from your available credit. This leaves an amount called the “amount owed.” That amount is the minimum you need to spend to qualify for AfterPay. There is no maximum limit to the amount you can be owed.
To use afterpay in-store, you will need to make around $100 in purchases.
You should make sure that it’s under the amount limit that you have mentioned.
However, if you exceed the limit, you will not get any compensation.
Are There Items Not Available with Afterpay?
1. Mobile phone handsets
2. Non-mobile electronic devices
3. Credit Cards, gift cards and cash.
4. Items that have been purchased with an associated membership plan.
But if you choose to buy any of these items, then you will be unable to select Afterpay as your payment method.
Afterpay will then only allow the transaction if you have enough available funds in your account.
