What Shipping Services Can You Use To Ship Dry Ice UPS?
Time: You have to choose the delivery within a given time.
Cost: You have to choose the delivery at the lowest possible price.
Other: These are the services that are of a personal choice and not those that you have to choose from a fixed set of alternatives.
UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Overnight. The difference between these three shipping options (and FedEx Ground) is the time window for which they guarantee that you will be able to receive your package. UPS Next-Day guarantees next-day delivery and is your “fastest” shipping option. UPS Ground and Overnight both guarantee delivery in 2-3 business days.
On the other hand, UPS Two-Day Shipping promises to have your package delivered within 48 hours and typically includes Second Day Air.

You’ll pay for the fastest service depending on the region you’re in.
Usually the delivery is in the morning and the delivery time is not guaranteed, and the cost is about $60 dollars.
The other hand, with FedEx, you can order and be able to ship by the end of the day.
UPS Three Days Shipping is a lot cheaper than FedEx Ground.
Three-Day Select Shipping is the most economical option and includes shipping within the United States on UPS Ground shipping.
UPS Three-Day Select does not guarantee a delivery time other than delivery in 3 days and will cost about $36.00 to deliver a five-and-a-half-pound package traveling 1,000 miles.
While this is the most economical option, we are a flat-fee service and our shipping costs are already included in the pricing. We’re not saying we’re the best, but this is by far the best value.
So while these values seem really low, you never know what the actual costs and time are until you sign up. But they still do show you the value that we offer.
Although shipping costs vary, they do not fluctuate very much. The total cost of shipping a package is calculated based on its weight, dimensions, the type of delivery service it needs, and the mode of delivery chosen.

How Do You Ship Dry Ice With UPS?
The first step to shipping anything is to ensure you have the tools and gear required to do so.
Dry ice should be stored in a non-airtight container. This is especially important when the dry ice is used as a refrigerant.
When dry ice is placed in the freezer at -78 degrees Fahrenheit, it goes straight from a solid to a gaseous form.
The reason gas expands when heated is because it expands into its container to fill up the space. So when it gets enough space, it then explodes.
Dry ice can burn flesh easily and make the container start to be very cold. So, it’s very important to choose a sturdy container for your product.
In order to keep your dry ice from sublimating too quickly, you should use high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulated foam containers.
Dry ice will start to melt a couple of days after it is placed here, so do be careful not to get ice on your hands!
You should be safe to place the lid back on now, and you have stored your air in your food that you plan to freeze.
Now you can freeze your food!
Once you send the package you need a label that says it’s been picked up, this way you know the package is being processed.
This is a good reminder because you don’t want to wait until it’s too late if you are going to schedule a pick up.
Finally, be sure to secure the shipping label, make sure the label is printed out on a Class 9 envelope, and mark the box as “CO2: Solid” and the weight of the dry ice included.
