How Can You Use Apple Pay At CVS?
Apple Pay is now available on your wallet app, which is available on the App Store. Once you’ve added a credit or debit card, your Apple account will be added to the app. You can then use Apple Pay at any participating retailer.
To avoid any payment problems you might have in making payments at your local pharmacy, you can simply set up Apple Pay as your default payment method.

With the new partnership with MasterCard, CVS has a new rule that allows their customers with any card to receive a cash back at a limit of 35$ per transaction over all other payment methods.
However, for credit and debit card users, you can use the “Discover CashBack Debit Card”.
For the 1% cash back reward, Discover offers the same 1% cash back reward for all transactions made with Apple Pay using the Discover Cashback Debit card that it normally offers with other methods. You can add your Discover card to Apple Pay following these instructions.

It only accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover as eligible payment methods for online purchases.

Why Didn’t CVS Take Apple Pay Before 2018?
CVS was forced to accept Apple Pay as a method of payment because Walmart and Target added the payment method for people who used NFC payments.
