Further, the restaurant primarily serves takeaway meals, disqualifying it from the program. Although the applicant may establish dining facilities, the cost would be too prohibitive for the enterprise to be viable.
The prices may not be a low cost, but you can’t beat the atmosphere and the service.
But the cost of providing cheap food is high, as is the cost of providing clean drinking water.
In Which Restaurants Can I Use My EBT Card If Not At Chick-Fil-A?
You can use your Electronic Benefits Transfer Card at any fast food restaurant that participates in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
Some fast food and other restaurants accept food stamps called Electronic Benefits Transfer cards.
The numbers are by no means exact, as the actual figure is well over 3000 fast-food restaurants in the three states that have the RMP.

What States Have the RMP?

There are four states that are on the list of states that have been selected to be among those to receive the RMP.
The states include California, Rhode Island, Michigan, Arizona and Texas.
The participating counties in Oregon are Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Lane, Linn, Multnomah,
Washington, and Yamhill.
California uses the program only in San Francisco, Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Mateo County.
California currently operates the program for only 6 counties.
The three states have applied for USDA recognition under the RMP to become a part of it. This would allow us to work alongside them to help reduce hunger in the United States.
How Do I Qualify for the EBT Under the RMP?
You do not have the option to purchase ready-to-eat food at the grocery store. You must cook all the food yourself.
