Most supermarkets and retailers have stores that cater to the general public, while others are set up to handle the specific items that they sell.
While Kroger has been around for a long time, it was not until recently that the chain was able to launch a “Fresh Fare” concept. What this means is that there are separate stores that only sell fresh produce instead of other produce. They are designed not as grocery stores and are more like stores that sell only produce. So, this does not apply to the chain’s normal grocery stores nor other stores.

Kroger Fresh Fare is Kroger’s solution to provide fresh, organic food for its customers. Kroger Fresh Fare will have a “farm to table” theme, and this will include products that are only available in Kroger Fresh Fare. It will also feature fresh produce, meats and baked goods.

I was just making another point: there is no such thing as the ‘return policy’ at the grocery store (unlike, e.g., eBay) – except where you are required to return the item within a specified time frame for a refund. I don’t know if that is the case with Kroger. I know that Wal-Mart has a more liberal return policy.
