Your mail should typically arrive on its most direct route between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday.

This means that you have a reasonable chance of getting this item within 3 days with the standard delivery options.

Priority Mail Express items are dispatched as soon as they arrive at the post office for overnight delivery.

If you’re mailing something next-day using Priority Mail Express, USPS simply skips over the holiday.

You have to pay even more postage.

In other words, if you ship a package overnight on July 3rd, the post office will consider July 4th to be the next day in accordance with its Priority Mail Express service commitment.
