Yes, I have Verizon Fios, and I recently realized that the Verizon Fios guide to the TV Guide is not working. I tried to figure out how to fix this. I was looking for good potential fixes for this issue.
If you want to speed up the process of getting feedback from your team members, then there’s a lot you can try.
For example, we’ve discovered a few tools in the last few months that are worth mentioning.
The tools are simple, so we’ll talk about them in a nutshell.
Verizon FIOS Guide Not Working In 2022
Your cable box can be fixed by turning it off and back on. Just be sure to unplug it and plug it back in. In 2022, your cable box router and the router that connects your internet can still be fixed in the same way.
As you might be aware, the Fios guide doesn’t fully work when accessing Verizon Fios through the browser on your phone.
Instead of a simple text list, a picture guide, with a list of shows is shown. However, since that seems to be the case, I have a better solution for you in this case.
To make sure that your Cable Box is not on, simply unplug it from the back of your TV.
It could be that the power is out of the box and requires a few minutes for the power to come back on. If after it does you are still having problems, try these steps.
-If you don’t know how to unplug the Fios box, please consult with your provider’s help desk.
-Plug the set-top box back in.
If you can’t change or delete your account because your username and/or password are locked, you can unplug the cable set-top box, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in as a way to restart the set-top box to see if that fixes your problem.
The first thing you can do is restart your Fios router.
Rebooting your router to fix the Fios guide not working may be just what you need to do to fix the problem, and you can do this by unplugging your router, waiting a few minutes, and plugging it back in.
If you’re in a hurry, just turn on your TV and the Roku, then go back into the Roku app and try to go back in to the guide.
Look at your cable.
In order to check that your TV and your router are connected to your outlets, you will need to check for power and signal from both of the outlets located inside the rooms where your TV is located and the router is located.
To ensure that you have a good connection between your coaxial cable and the TV, you may want to move the cable around in different positions.
Reset Fios router then check if there are any network issues.
If your current Fios router still isn’t working properly, you can fix it by putting a safety pin in the back of the router and holding down the “Reset” button.
Then when you restart your router you will be asked for the default username and password from the previous version. Once you enter the default username and password you will need to delete the old user account.
The router will have finished a reset, so you can start looking for a new ethernet cable.
If the ethernet connection still does not work, you may try to connect the cable with another port on the router.
Ensure that the input to your television is not blocked.
It could be that you’re not in the right input source for your TV and cable box, and so you may not be getting the best picture quality.
For example, you may be plugging your cable box into HDMI 2 or HDMI 3, and the wrong input is being selected, which is why it is not working.
Next, look at the front end of the set-top box and make sure that there is a picture or icon that lets you know what the cable is for.
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.
It could be because many devices are using the Internet and your Internet is slow. This could be caused by a router, an Internet connection, or other device that is using the Internet.
If there are people in your house watching videos, or downloading and watching movies, or playing games on your set-top box, it can cause problems with the connection quality and the set-top box.
You should try to disconnect devices from the Internet temporarily to see if the problem is caused by the Internet.
Check your Verizon Signal. If an outage has been reported please contact your local police department as well as the FCC.
I was able to test if the problem was an outage with Verizon and it was an outage with Verizon, so I got a refund.
I would also recommend that you contact your internet provider and ask for a plan that is not capped or throttled. You should be able to find a plan that doesn’t cap your data usage, and is not throttled.
If you are seeing poor network performance issues over and over again, contact Verizon and ask if there is an issue being reported in their internal systems or other issues outside of your home.
A Verizon technician might be able to fix this, but you might have to wait several days as they have other customers to work on.
Did Verizon Fios Change the Guide?
With the introduction of Fios TV, Verizon changed the guide to Fios TV Interactive Media Guide. It features a search, internet, and television functions which makes it easier than before.
Finally, the guide contains additional information about the program, such as what the show airs every night or when the most recent episodes started airing.
Why Is the Fios Guide So Slow?
If your Fios guide shows commercials, then you might want to turn off the promotions, recommendations, and interactive TV features.
I tried them off because that made the guide take a little longer to load.
If you’ve recently installed a new firmware update, it can also slow down the guide. Try to restart to see if that fixes the issue.

One other thing to try is unplug your router and plug it back in or try to reset your router to the factory. The issue could be you’re not using the right input source.
