The £3 extra fee is for orders that are under £40. Also customers that have an Asda Delivery Pass, will get free delivery whilst their pass is valid.
What Is An Asda Delivery Pass?
Asda typically charges a home delivery fee, but the Delivery Pass allows you to get your groceries delivered to your home for free. You can earn up to 1.5x the amount of money you spend on groceries and 2x the amount of money you spend on alcohol.
The company offers a variety of pass options, including the Anytime Pass, which allows customers to get free delivery on any day of the week and the One-Day Pass, which costs £8 for one month and £20 for six months or £30 for the entire year.
There is also a Midweek Delivery Pass which is cheaper and allows for free delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
How Do I Get An Asda Delivery Slot?
You can book a delivery on Asda’s website by clicking on the top left corner, and then selecting ‘Book a slot’.
If you haven’t already signed in you may be prompted to do so. Enter your postcode.
when you have entered your details, a calendar will appear showing the times and dates available for delivery. The calendar also shows you the cost to deliver your goods.

How Do You Pay For Asda Online Shopping?
You can buy your new car online at Asda using a credit or debit card from the following card issuers: Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Visa Debit, PayPal, and American Express.
In addition, online shoppers can also pay using eVouchers and Asda Gift Cards.
When your delivery is confirmed, your payment will be taken from your bank account immediately, and the full amount of your purchase will show up as a pending payment on your bank account. However, the money is not taken out of your account until the delivery is confirmed. This ensures that you will not be charged for your order after you leave the website.
What Happens If I Miss My Asda Delivery?
If you miss your Asda delivery, the driver returns your shopping to the Asda store, and cancels your order. Your order doesn’t have to be cleared by your bank during this time, and you will not be charged. It could take between 3 and 5 days for your bank to clear your money.
