Does Walmart Have A Butcher?

Walmart is a very big retail store… They have all sorts of different products in the different departments they have. Some departments sell things that are already cooked, some departments sell things that you would have to cook yourself, and some departments are just for display only. Some departments, like the fresh meat department, won’t have any foods that you would need to cook up. They just have the meat.
Where Else Can I Buy Fresh Chicken?
The most consistent thing you will see when dealing with chicken in the grocery store is the fact that it is going to be labeled as “frozen poultry”. Fresh poultry is a whole different story that can be more expensive and more difficult to locate.
1. A store that has a fresh chicken section. This may seem obvious, but if it’s not then you might be able to find a store that has a lot of produce, fish or meat sections, and then look for a section of fresh chicken.
2. You might find a frozen chicken section
3. A store that uses a “farm-fresh” approach.
In the US, “farm to table” is more about local and seasonal produce. Buying chickens and having them be raised in the US is a different story from the same chicken being sourced from France, Brazil, etc.
