Does Tractor Supply Get Chicks Only In The Spring?
Tractor supply sells live birds, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, and other small animals such as guinea pigs and hamsters and snakes and turtles online and in stores, during its Chick Days event every spring.
Chick Day is when you can buy chicks.
The only other time I ever got chicks was to hatch them.
Additionally, they receive chicks from local hatcheries every week. If they do not, they get to keep the animals.

This is when you’ll have the widest selection of breeds in the spring.
But if you’re buying chicks online, they’re usually shipped later in spring when there’s less risk of bad weather issues.
Can You Buy Chicks In The Winter?
Some hatcheries may also be closed for the winter. During these months, you may be able to purchase chicks from another store that is open year round.
