Amazon is launching a major push into the influencer market. The big news came this week with the introduction of Amazon Live, a new subscription-based subscription-based live streaming service that seeks to capitalize on the success of YouTube and Twitch. Amazon’s new live-streaming service is available from a number of subscription tiers that range from $34 to $99 per month.
So, if you’re new to Influencer Marketing and Amazon Live, then you should know that Amazon Live is an online marketing platform built by Amazon. It’s a part of the Amazon Influencer Program and you can earn money by sharing Amazon business tips with your followers. If you’re looking for ways to make money on Amazon Live, I’ve researched the platform and found ways on how you can make money. So, I’m here to help!
What Is Amazon Live In 2022?
If you want to find out more about the Amazon Live, such as how you can find the live videos and how influencers can use the platform, then continue reading!
What Do You Use Amazon Live For?
Amazon Live isn’t a platform designed for people but the brands and merchants use it to bring us together.
Shopping on Amazon is different than shopping in a regular store. There are unique features that I cannot explain in one word. To me, it is very similar to what happens when you shop on a Chinese website.
Essentially, Amazon created Amazon Live to give existing influencers another way to earn money and sell more products through Amazon in the process. Amazon Live allows influencers with a verified Amazon account to upload a video on Amazon Live. Influencers can then earn money by running ads on the video.
What Is the Purpose of Amazon Live?
The objective is to create a platform that brings live streams and shopping on one platform.
The company hopes that their influencers can bring products to life by featuring them in sellers product carousel.
With this new feature, customers who are watching influencers’ live streams can click on the product photo (on the right side of the product video) to purchase the featured product.
However, Amazon Live does not intend for it’s users to have a social life, as many of their users are teenagers and children.
We have a lot of features that help sellers and buyers engage. We have product highlighting, live promotions, a live chat.
Also, because there are a variety of influencers and brands on Amazon Live, shoppers can introduce themselves to new products they otherwise would have never discovered.
You are reading this text in my office because you want to know how it works.
Where Can You Find Amazon Live?
For online shoppers, you can find Amazon Live events on the Prime Video website and Prime Video apps.
It will appear in the same row as the live stream schedule that appears on mobile.
However, keep in mind that you may need a Prime membership or another subscription via a third-party carrier to view certain Live TV. Also, you may have to add these third-party services to your account for a free trial.
In terms of apps, influencers and brands can use the Amazon Live Creator app to manage and create their live streams.
With the Creator app, anyone who is an influencer is able to view all the pertinent information that applies to them and for their events, earnings, and fan engagement.
Who Can Use Amazon Live?
You can watch Amazon Live Events and they will be listed under the Live Events section of Amazon.
There aren’t many rules or restrictions yet for using Amazon and Amazon influencers.
However, before using this platform for your own brand or client brand, you must understand the rules and regulations that Amazon may impose from time to time.
How Can Influencers Use Amazon Live?
Social influencers can use Amazon Live to bring certain products to life by using the live video streaming feature.
An influencer can start streaming by visiting their account page and clicking the Start Streaming button.
However, the commission structure is complicated, and it’s up to the influencer to work out their compensation package with Amazon in advance. The Influencer Program is the way to make money through Amazon, but it’s not a passive way to earn money as a streamer.
The influencers must be at least 16 years old, have at least 1,000 followers on the Amazon Influencer Network, have at least 5,000 total followers on Amazon, and be available to do live streaming on Amazon at least 2 days a week.
Who Can Be an Influencer On Amazon Live?
Anyone and everyone can become an influencer on Amazon Live regardless of the niche.
However, Influencers on Amazon require that you have an account of your own on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter to get started.
As an Amazon Live partner, your followers and likes will also be displayed in the top right-hand corner of the web page.
The reason Amazon checks social media account metrics is so it can decide whether a user will attract a significant number of people to the Amazon Live platform.
After an influencer creates a live stream, they can then earn commissions on qualified purchases made from their channels.
How Do Influencers Get Paid Through Amazon Live?
Influencers get their commissions every month based on the amount of orders they receive. For each purchase that an influencer makes on Amazon, the influencer gets paid a certain percentage of the purchase price.
However, the amount they earn depends on fan engagement, what products they are promoting, and their Amazon Live following.
How Can Brands Use Amazon Live?
Brands and influencers can live stream on Amazon and make money from it.
It’s like when you’re at a concert, and someone says “Let’s take a selfie”. A crowd immediately gathers around the person, and then the person takes pictures with all the people. You see, people aren’t really into being in the picture. They’re more interested in taking photos and sharing them on social media.
The same happens with their competitors’ products and descriptions – even those that are not on Amazon Live.
To promote your product on the Amazon Live dashboard, you’ll need a Amazon FBA Store to sell it.
In addition, you have to create and upload your files in the Twitch Studio App before you can start livestreaming.
What Are the Different Kinds of Videos on Amazon Live?
The system consists of “Rising” (which are videos that are “well-received”), “Insider” (which are “generally liked”) and “A-List” (which are “generally liked”).
These levels are meant to provide progressively better video placement on the Amazon Live page.
This indicates that “A-List” individuals are likely to receive more Amazon Prime subscriptions to their channels.
If you want to become a top producer, you must share videos consistently, accumulate more followers, and push more product sales.
While both Twitch and YouTube are great platforms for game streaming, they also have a lot of downsides.
How Popular Is Amazon Live?
It’s a very new platform that could be used by small businesses, but it’s not a platform for the bigger influencers.
The creators state that they mostly choose to make their videos on their own time on their own device on the live streaming platform that they like the most.
They can also use other live streaming platforms.
This indicates that the content creators prefer making content for their own use, and are not in a hurry to work on other platforms.
This is low, which means if you are to use Amazon Live, you should focus on the most popular channels.
This way, creators can add video from external platforms like YouTube, Facebook Live and Periscope to their live broadcasts.
Also, Amazon has started to build a store that will feature original content. This will probably continue to grow.
Nevertheless, people expect that Amazon has no influence in the number of people using the service.
Amazon cloud can easily store all your files, photos, videos, documents, and even your music.
Since the launch of Amazon Live, it has been a great tool for influencers to grow their fanbase and expand their reach to a wider audience.
Brands can still earn Amazon Live commissions using the same old way, but the new option is much more fun for them because they can focus on producing great videos for Amazon and earn commissions.
