If you’re an Amazon customer, do you think that the new USPS 2-Day Air service is a great idea?? I personally think that it’s a good idea as all the other post offices have 24-hour drop offs, but it will be interesting to see how everyone else reacts.
As long as you’re within the legal limits there are a few places you can leave your mail at any time.
So a word of warning; if you’re outside of those limits, you may actually be breaking the law!
Does USPS Have 24 Hour Drop off In 2022?
All letters and small mail pieces weighing 10 ounces or less that are dropped off in Collection Boxes can be picked up 24-hours a day, seven days a week through the Postal Service. Large envelopes and packages cannot be dropped off in the Collection Boxes, but must be deposited in a Postal Service location or a USPS-approved drop-off center.

Can I Drop off Mail at USPS Anytime?
A collection box is located at each Post Office on the ground floor. It is available all day and will accept mail for up to 4 weeks. There is no charge for sending mail via collection.
 You must mail letters at least every day or every other day.
All domestic mail needs to have the Post Office or USPS logo imprinted on the front and back of the envelope, along with the words “U.S. POSTAGE” and the words “Postage Paid” on the front.

Post Office counters are only open from 9 to 5. Many locations have lobbies with extended hours.

You can purchase stamps when you purchase a package, or use the free Postal service, if your mail is too big.

Are There Other Places to Drop off USPS Packages After Hours?
USPS created an Approved Provider Program to ensure that eligible businesses receive priority in receiving mail. USPS is a customer-driven organization and the program is available to certain businesses after they have proven their ability to provide reliable mail-sorting services.
Through this program, USPS has added drop-off locations for packages and mail through partnerships. It makes it easier for people to get their packages and mail at their preferred drop locations.
The USPS has announced that some businesses are now considered as Approved Postal Providers, which have more flexible shipping rates, discounts and other benefits.

The main reason Walgreens is expanding the hours of their locations is due to the fact that they offer USPS shipping which would save customers a lot of time and money.
If you want to drop off your mail at a mailboxes or postal box, you just find a USPS-labeled box or head over to the customer service counter and ask for help.
CVS is a version control system, where you can store and check out files and track changes.
CVS also offers counter service, like competitor Walgreens does. They also have their own drop boxes, like Post Office boxes do.

If you have a full-time job, this is a good option if you are open around the clock.
