Does Walgreens Take Apple Pay In 2022?
Walgreens accepts Apple Pay payments on its smartphone app, website, and in-store as of 2022. However, it is not accepted for online purchases of Photo products. Customers can also use their Balance Rewards card with Apple Pay and get 3% cashback every time they use the Apple Card at Walgreens.
Walgreens, for example, has a new feature called Reward Zone. With it, you can get 3% cashback on the transactions. You can add your Balance Rewards card to your Apple device when making a payment so the cashback will go directly to your Balance Rewards account. It’s simple, and it’s really easy!
How Can You Use Apple Pay At Walgreens?
The service will work with any supported Apple Watch, which is any watch that runs watchOS 2 or later.
For this example, we’re going to use the test card that you can add to your Apple Pay account.
To add a card, you need to log in to your Apple Pay account.
Click on the Apple Pay icon in the upper right corner of the app.
This brings you to the main Apple Pay screen.
Scroll down to the Card Settings section.
Tap on the Add card button.
In your case, the payment was completed without requiring a pin or password, since it was authorized from the device itself.
To return back to your app, go to the Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
*NOTE: If the Home Screen Layout contains any notifications, they will not be deleted.
Can You Use Apply Pay For Online Purchases At Walgreens?
Yes, you can use Apple’s in app purchases for the walgreens app!
If you do not have an Apple Pay account, you’ll need to enable an account first. You can do this by going to the Apple Wallet App on your iPhone or iPad. Open the app and tap “Create Card,” and then do the same for your second card. Once you are done, you can enable these cards with the Apple Pay option.
The customer will be charged for the transaction once you authorize the payment.
Can You Use Your Walgreens Balance Rewards Card Through Apple Pay?
But wait! You can still use your Balance Rewards card to make payment while using Apple Pay.
If you already have an account with Best Buy, your existing membership will be honored at checkout.
If you want to pay for your Walgreens purchases with Apple Pay on iOS 10 or later, go to the Walgreens app, and sign in to the Balance Rewards program using your card.
Can You Get Cash Back At Walgreens With Apple Pay?
If you’ve got an Apple Card, you can access 3% of your purchases through the card. The only thing you need to do is to pay through Apple Pay!
No limits to the amount you can withdraw. There is a 3% fee charged for every time you withdraw or deposit money from the ATM.
If you have an Apple ID, Apple Pay account, and an eligible device, you can add your Apple Card to Apple Pay.
