When 711 opened, it was for new users only. It was free and included an unlimited number of hours (and sometimes text messages in a new user’s area). In fact, a new user would have a different phone number than you. 711 also provided free phone and WiFi.
Does 711 Have WiFi In 2022?
The stores have wireless internet for free, but if you want to speed up the internet, you will have to earn points by shopping. When you get reward points, you can choose to buy an internet speed upgrade, which would increase your internet speed by 20MB.

What is CliQQ WiFi?
CliQQ Rewards is a loyalty program where you earn points by making purchases at a participating 7-Eleven store.
A lot of people think that the points are just for buying stuff on the app, but that’s not completely true.
The points don’t disappear just because you aren’t spending money on the app, but you will get less points because of that.
The points do depend on your spending, though.
However, in order to access the barcode, one has to buy a 711 card or download the free 711 mobile app.
What’s great about this is that not only does the wifi work for free, but you don’t have to buy any points to use this.
How Do You Use CliQQ WiFi?
The first thing is that you need to get within the WiFi zone. Usually, these are available throughout 711 stores.
You’ll then be taken to a sign-in page where you’ll need to enter your phone number and your email address.
Finally you can access WiFi for free on your computer at 70MB. If you want to, you can buy more WiFi for more speed, and if you like, you can also use your points.
Can I Use the CliQQ App without the Internet?
If you are not in a CLiQQ hotspot zone, you should not use the app because you cannot use it without the internet. Most of the app’s functions require the internet to work.
However, the barcodes function has a few limitations. For instance, it does not work on the iPhone 4 and certain other devices.
Do 711s in Japan Have WiFi?
In the Philippines, it’s even more complicated. I’ve tried the setup with different WiFi providers that 711 offers in the Philippines and always end up in an internet timeout when I enter the WiFi or try to access the internet on the same connection again.
So, if the store is one of these places, then the WiFi is completely free.

While 711 has WiFi, it is not free. Instead, you have to sign up for an account, download the app, and then use rewards points.
Well, in fact, anyone can receive 70 MB of the Internet for free and if you want to speed up your internet connection, you’ll have to present your CLiQQ barcode every time you make a purchase at 711.
