How to Use EBT Cards at Whole Foods
It is very easy to use your EBT card at Whole Foods. Just check out the same way as usual.
It’s not necessary to separate EBT-approved items and non-grocery products. This will be done automatically by the checkout machine.
After scanning everything, swipe your EBT card. Once everything is scanned, you will see your EBT card and can then pay the balance using cash or a credit card.
Remember to swipe your EBT card before you make any other payments.
What can you buy with EBT cards?
Whole foods will sell any grocery item, regardless of whether it is a high-end brand. EBT is not eligible for items that aren’t grocery-related, such as personal hygiene products.
