Legal Affairs Correspondent Jay Goodman Tamboli will be covering the U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments in Ashcroft v. Iqbal.

The Washington Bureau will be covering the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing on investments in clean energy and natural resources projects and programs to create green jobs and to stimulate the economy, and the House Financial Services Committee on “Oversight Concerns Regarding Treasury Department Conduct of the Troubled Assets Relief Program.”

In the afternoon, the Washington Bureau will be covering “Great Energy Debate” on “Nuclear Power: Climate Solution or Economic and Security Gamble?” at the National Press Club, and a discussion on “Building a Military for the 21st Century: New Realities, New Priorities” at the Center for American Progress.

Legal Affairs Correspondent, Jay Tamboli, will be covering the Supreme Court oral arguments of Arizona v. Johnson and Cone v. Bell. Pentagon Correspondent, Dawn Casey, will be covering a press briefing at the Pentagon.

The Washington Bureau will be covering a House Committee hearing on “The Energy Independence Implications of the Auto Bailout Proposal.” The Washington Bureau will also be covering a House Committee hearing on the financial collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, their takeover by the federal government, and their role on the ongoing financial crisis.

In the afternoon, the Washington Bureau will be covering a Summit on “Rebuilding our Nation’s Infrastructure.” Finally, the Washington Bureau will be covering an issues forum with national experts on the economy and national security.

This morning the Washington Bureau will be covering the Federalist Society of Law and Public Policy Convention with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Washington Bureau will also be covering the House Agriculture Committee hearing to review the role of credit derivatives in the U.S. economy. The Washington Bureau will also be covering the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s Third Annual Civic Literacy Report to the Nation.

In the afternoon, the Washington Bureau will be covering a news conference announcing the final resolution of the claims against Libyan government for the Dec. 21st, 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. The final event the Washington Bureau will be covering will be a discussion on war crimes and torture.
