White House Correspondent Lovisa Frost will be covering today’s afternoon briefing with Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

The Washington Bureau will be covering:

- A news conference hosted by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who will be discussing financial regulatory reform.

- An address from German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel to a joint session of Congress.

- House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) holds his weekly pen and pad session.

- The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee holds a markup session on the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act.

- Sens. Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), Reps. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Fredrick Upton (R-Minn.) hold a news conference to discuss efficiency standards for outdoor lighting.

- The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing to discuss increasing health costs facing small businesses.

- TRNS will be speaking with voters in Alexandria, Va., about who they voted for today in the state’s gubernatorial election.
