-The Congressional Quarterly-Roll Call Group holds a forum on “Expanding Health Care Coverage to All Americans.” With Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Chairman John “Jay” Rockefeller, D-W.Va.; Roll Call Executive Editor Morton Kondracke; Chris Condeluci, tax and benefits counsel at the Senate Finance Committee;

-The Center for American Progress holds a discussion on “Health Care Reform and the Budget Deficit.”

-Rep. Burgess, Health care groups holds a Health Care Forum on pre-existing conditions.

-Judicial Watch holds a discussion on “Oversight of the Obama Administration.”

-The Council on Foreign Relations holds a discussion on “Afghanistan: Defining the Possibilities,” with Senate Foreign Relations Chairman John Kerry, D-Mass., giving a “congressional perspective on U.S. policy and the current situation in the region.”

-Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki deliver remarks at the joint Mental Health Summit to discuss a public health model for enhanced mental health care for returning service members, veterans, and their families.

-Representatives Pence, Reichert hold pen & pad session w/ reporters.
