David Andrea, Vice President of Industry Analysis and Economics at the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association, says in a Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee hearing Friday that many manufacturing companies are making major cutbacks in employee compensation and benefits.
