Director Of Low-Income Advocacy Group Says Minorities Left Out Of “Gang Of Six” Health Care Discourse
Dr. Brian Smedley says that the “Gang of Six,” a group of Senators in the Finance Committee that were key in shaping the committee’s bill, failed to account for the the needs of minority groups because the constituents of the states represented in the group possessed disproportionately low minority populations.
