Dalai Lama: This Should Be The Century Of Peace

Mind And Life Institute’s, 19th annual dialogue between scientific researchers and the Dalai Lama was held today in Washington, DC.

Tenzin Gyatso, the XIVth Dalai Lama said he believes this century should be the century of peace. Instead of violence, the Dalai Lama says the global community should use intelligence and solve problems through dialogue. (0:45)

    Today is the memorial anniversary of Thubten Jigme Norbu, elder brother to His Eminence, the Dalai Llama and retired Professor of Tibetan Studies at Indiana University, who passed to the next life in a happy, successful death on September 5th, 2008. It is fitting that he be remembered here and his spirit invoked for the success of this conference.
