Connecticut Democrat: Taxing High-Cost Health Care Plans Disconnected From Reality

Rep. Joe Coutrney (D-Conn.) Friday expanded upon a letter proposed by Courtney and 107 fellow Congressmen asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to reject a tax on “cadillac”, or high-priced, health insurance plans.

Courtney told TRNS that the notion that Congress could control health care costs through taxes was “disconnected from the reality.” (0:32)
