- A news conference featuring Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., of the Congressional Black Caucus; and Black Leadership Forum Chairman and National Urban League President and CEO Marc Morial to discuss health care reform.

- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., holds a meeting with Chairman Wu Bangguo of the National People’s Congress of China.

- The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA); and Salem Radio Network holds event to deliver the FreeOurHealthcareNow.com petition to “keep government out of healthcare.”

- The Senate Foreign Relations Committee holds a full committee hearing on “Iraq: Report from the Field.”

- The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee holds a hearing on “A Prescription for Waste: Controlled Substance Abuse in Medicaid.”
