Other Factors Besides Stimulus Have Contributed To Recent Economic Growth
Speaking about a new CEA report on the progress of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Christy Romer, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors, says the stimulus plan is not entirely responsible for improvements in the economy. Romer says that while the stimulus has been a major factor, it would be wrong to identify it as the sole reason for recent economic growth. (:19)

How strange that the news media is stepping forth with all of this malarky about the stimulus plan – what we’re witnessing now is the “Obama Slam Dunk,” trying to distract Americans until his healthcare reform is passed.
For those that believe our economy is turning around – take a look at the real unemployment rate way over 9.7%, the jobs lost in June, July and August. Homeowners are losing homes right and left and many more will come when the loan modification falls flat on its face.
Americans should know by now, that what our government and their news media buddies hand out to us daily is nothing but a pack of lies. Before you get all excited about Geither, Christy Romer’s comments – look around in your town.
Don’t let Mr. Obama lead us into one more costly reform package, we’ve had enough, lets get busy and try to recover from the problems he has created in just 8 months, such as: Bigger government, no transparency, poorly prepared home owner’s assistance bill, Cash for Clunkers that we’ll be paying for again, second time around in the near future.
The million jobs the Democrats are bragging about must be in some other country – its surely not the USA.
As Always, Annie
