Civil Rights Advocate Calls Post-Katrina Problems a “Man-Made Catastrophe”

Wade Henderson, President of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, says the problems that occurred in the Gulf region following Hurricane Katrina were caused by government ineptitude at every level. Henderson and other civil rights advocates are going to bat for residents of the Gulf region, urging Congress to ensure accuracy in next year’s census count. (:16)
