“This legislation ends gender rating in insurance,” said Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md), praising the Affordable Health Services Act that passed through the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee Wednesday for ending the apparent presence of gender discrimination in health care.
