Official Says Obama Will Extend Limited Same-Sex Benefits

John Berry, the Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, said Obama will sign a memorandum granting federal benefits for same-sex couples, excluding those benefits rendered illegal by the Defense of Marriage Act. Berry said the President recognizes that many public servants are denied rights and benefits because they are gay. (0:54)
