Today at Talk Radio News Service, Legal Affairs Correspondent Jay Goodman Tamboli will be covering a news conference on patent reform with Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt). News Director Lovisa Frost will be covering President Obama’s speech at Department of Transportation about how the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will significantly invest in transportation infrastructure and create jobs. The Washington Bureau will be covering the House Budget Committee hearing on the President’s FY2010 Budget, and the House Ways and Means Committee hearing on the President’s budget proposals for FY2010. Additionally, correspondents will be attending Senator Hoyer’s (D-Md.) pen and pad news briefing, as well as the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on “Iranian Political and Nuclear Realities and U.S. Policy Options.” The Washington Bureau will also be covering a news conference to discuss fiscal discipline and the line-item veto with Senators Feingold (D-Wis.), McCain (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Ryan (R-Wis.). Additionally, correspondents will attend a meeting on climate with Rep. Markey (D-Mass.), British Secretary of State Ed Milliband, and Danish Energy Minister Connie Hedegaard. Lastly, correspondents will be covering the Avon Foundation for Women news conference to announce new efforts in the fight against domestic violence.
