The Washington Bureau will be covering a Senate Joint Economic hearing on “The Employment Situation: January 2009,” a news conference on the Labor Department’s release of its monthly jobs and unemployment rate, a discussion on “Jerusalem and Israel-Palestine Peace: What should President Obama Do?”, and a discussion on “Achieving our Energy Goals: Alternative Transportation Fuels.” Additionally the Bureau will also be attending a discussion on “Rendezvous with Destiny: A Panel on Ronald Regan,” a book discussion on “All You Can Eat? How Hungry is America in Good Times versus Recession?”, and a meeting of National Vaccine Advisory Committee to discuss the draft strategic National Vaccine Plan.
