Spending too much money at the pump? Just plug it in!

Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) speaks at The American Chemical Society and the Senate Science and Technology Caucus to discuss alternative transportation fuels. He says that it is realistic to have half of our cars and trucks running on electricity without having to build any new power plants. One problem that he says needs to be addressed is coal, but it is still a smaller carbon footprint than running other engines.
