At the Conservative Political Action Conference on Feb. 26, 2009, Doug McIntyre, National Director of Homosexuals Anonymous: A Christian Fellowship of men and women who have chosen to help each other live free from homosexuality, shares his views. He shares his history as a converted homosexual himself, and his belief that homosexuality is a result of troubled upbringing.

    Yes, I remember Homosexuals Anonymous. Wasn’t their former leader Colin Cook who was caught not being so “exgay” after all. Actually the exgay movement has had that problem a lot. Guy Charles, who kicked off the movement was another one who got caught. As for change — of course it’s possible. After all I used to be a Christian and a conservative but I’ve been cured of both.
