National Academy of Social Insurance policy conference.
Today the National Academy of Social Insurance held their 21st annual policy conference regarding social insurance, fiscal responsibility and economic growth. The conference was conducted at the National Press Club. Speakers present were: Renee Landers, Robert Berenson, senior fellow of the Urban Institute; Diane Rowland, executive director of the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured; Cindy Mann, executive director of the Center for Children and Families; and James Capretta, fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
