Bob Barr says bold, specific leadership needed, not unity

Posted by Jay Goodman Tamboli on September 10, 2008 |

Former Congressman and presidential candidate Bob Barr says that “bold, specific leadership” is needed to bring about policy changes, as opposed to a “wishlist” or group of candidates. Barr was speaking at a press conference held following an earlier press conference by Ron Paul, Cynthia McKinney, Chuck Baldwin, and Ralph Nader wherein they had presented a statement of principles all agreed on. Barr said he agreed with the principles but declined an invitation to appear at the earlier press conference. (0:46)
