Air transport expert says DoT leaving a legacy of failed experiments

At a hearing on the outlook of summer air travel, John Meenan, vice president and chief operating officer of the Air Transport Association, says that the Department of Transportation (DoT) is not doing much to deal with the growing air traffic congestion. Meenan continues to say that the DoT is pushing congestion pricing and slot auctions which no one in the aviation world has used successfully.
