Senator says employer based health care is vanishing
Sen. Gordon Smith (R-Ore.) speaks at the health care conference today. He said that the employer based health care is vanishing, even though 60 percent of employees are covered by employers and like their coverage. But employers are paying a lot for coverage and will not be able to continue that int he future. Smith said that Congress should pass a resolution to strengthen and build upon employer coverage.
