Gas tax is “running away,” says Governor Kaine (Va.)
At the State Summit on innovative Transportation Funding and Financing, the Governor of Virginia, Tim Kaine, says that as fuel efficiency increases, revenues from the gas tax decrease as if the gas tax is “running away.” He says the transportation funding “portfolio” needs to be “diversified.”(0:56)
