Congresswoman Capps: “Dismayed” and “horrified” by U.S. health care

Vice Chairman Lois Capps (D-Calif.) talks about H.R. 3014, the “Health Equity and Accountability Act of 2007.” Capps says that the U.S. “needs this bill more than ever.” She also says that she is dismayed and even horrified at how far the U.S. lags behind other industrialized countries in terms of infant and maternal mortality rates and other “quality of life measures.” (0:59)
