Today at Talk Radio News Service, members of the staff will be attending the Maria Leavy Breakfast series with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). This morning the Washington Bureau will cover a discussion by the Brookings Institute about the energy challenges the next president will face. Correspondent Dawn Jones will attend an update on ongoing security operations in Iraq. Jay Tamboli, legal affairs correspondent, will be attending a press conference with former Representative Bob Barr, who will discuss his future plans for the 2008 election. White House Correspondent Lovisa Frost will be covering briefings at the White House.

This afternoon Dawn Jones will cover a hearing on the impact of American reconstruction and anti-corruption failures on the U.S. mission in Iraq. The Washington Bureau will cover a discussion with the Brookings Institute entitled, “The Economic and National Security Implications of the U.S.-Columbia Free Trade Agreement.”
