Today at the Talk Radio News Service Chief Pentagon Correspondent Meredith MacKenzie is traveling with the Secretary of Defense in Mexico. Lovisa Frost, White House Correspondent, will be covering events at the White House.

The Washington Bureau will be covering an event in front of the White House where the “Mission Accomplished” banner used five years ago aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln will be on display. The weekly meeting with Speaker Pelosi will also be covered.

The Center for American Progress will be holding a discussion on “Iraq: Five Years after President Bush Declared ‘Mission Accomplished.” that will be covered in addition to a news conference on “human rights abuses by China leading up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.” A correspondent will be covering an senate economic subcommittee on financial literacy for homebuyers, a hearing on housing homeless veterans and a hearing on the military build-up in Guam.
