Republicans want to protect big oil

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says that big oil companies should have been cut off from government subsidies when the price of oil passed $30 or $40 per barrel. (0:25)

    While I agree that the oil companies, in general, do not currently need subsidies… neither do wealthy farmers who are benefiting from record high food prices.

    I bet Nancy voted for that pork sandwich farm bill…
