Raising public awareness of military stress disorders

Barbara Romberg, founder and president of the Give an Hour Foundation, says that the grant money from the Lilly Foundation to Give an Hour will be used to raise public awareness and to
increase outreach to the military community. She says that Give an Hour aims to educate the public, and that though people mean well, they don’t understand the issues of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries. She says the program also wants to help military personnel understand that these issues are a normal reaction to traumatic events. (0:51)
