This morning, correspondent Dawn Jones and the Washington Bureau will be covering the Communications Workers of America (CWA) legislative-political conference, with guests Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). The Washington Bureau will also cover the Vets for Freedom rally with participant Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), and the Senate Finance Committee hearing on the “Iran Counter-Proliferation Act of 2007.”
Correspondent Meredith MacKenzie will be attending the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing with U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker and Army Gen. David Petraeus on the situation in Iraq. In the afternoon, correspondent Dawn Jones will attend the Petraeus/Crocker Iraq Report with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Later in the day, the Washington Bureau will be covering the March of Dimes news conference with participant Sen. Clinton, the Foreign Affairs discussion on the National Iranian American Council, and a conference call with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) and the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) on income inequality for families.
