This morning, the Washington Bureau will cover a hearing with the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee regarding aviation safety measures. A correspondent will also be covering a hearing with the Senate Appropriations Committee on the Federal Housing Administration’s role in addressing the housing crisis. Legal Affairs Correspondent Jay Tamboli will cover a hearing with the Senate Appropriations Committee regarding Justice Department appropriations, and another correspondent will cover the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on a US-Iraq long-term security agreement.

Later in the afternoon, the Washington Bureau will cover a hearing with the House Appropriations Committee on the European Command and the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on future military presence in Iraq.
