This morning the Washington Bureau is covering the House Financial Services Committee on Foreclosure Prevention in addition to an event on Homeland Security with House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson. The Bureau is also covering a news conference on high tech initiatives to increase U.S. economic competitiveness with Senate Republican Conference Chairman Lamar Alexander speaking. Senator Clinton, Representative John Murtha and Joint Economic Committee Chairman Charles Schumer will also be speaking at the 2008 National Legislative Conference with the Building and Construction Trades Department.

Legal Affairs Correspondent Jay Tamboli will be at the Supreme Court today to cover Kennedy v. Louisiana on the death penalty for child rape.
